Better tools for better decision-making.

Local governments, residents, and businesses share an interest: they all need swift access to reliable information to make better decisions and conduct city business.

The Resident Information Portal answers that need. The Portal is a web-based interactive system that provides property-related maps and interactive forms to residents and businesses. It enables users to query electronic maps and databases, and to apply for permits, passes or licenses.

Because the Portal can be accessed from any computer, residents can minimize trips to City Hall. And because this system operates within a city’s website, staff functions are seamless and efficient.

Geographic Information System (GIS)

Based on the address entered, the GIS tool presents the user with a scalable map and 25 optional layers of information— schools, public services, parks and many more. Map layers are grouped by categories so users view only what they need, not distracted by irrelevant data.

Building Permit Records

This feature allows residents, builders, architects, planners, and engineers to view the Bureau of Building records. This cuts down on staff time and reduces trips to City Hall.

Assessment Records

Similar to the Building Permit Records feature, this feature allow residents, real estate agents, and others to view assessment and tax information for a property.

Web forms

Using the Portal from any computer, residents and businesses can fill out and submit applications, permits, and other forms. Cities around the world are adopting these systems because of the efficiency and energy-savings they offer.
